Welcome to Restorative Yoga! I am so glad that you are here! This session runs from April 3 until May 22. Please feel free to follow my blog for class and session updates, extra sequences, and lots of great yoga and lifestyle information.
As we resume our restorative yoga spring session, I wanted to start out by saying thank you for being here and joining me on my journey. This class is designed to help restore tight and inflamed muscles, improve circulation, and to help manage stress and anxiety and improve sleep.
I recommend wearing warm layers and comfortable clothes that you can move and stretch freely in. Additionally, a towel and blanket will help with our restorative practice so I highly recommend bringing both plus warm socks.
Yoga blocks and straps are provided and I do have plenty of extra mats. You are welcome to bring your own props if you are more comfortable.
Since this class is heavily focused on meditation, I ask that you please arrive to class on time so that you do not disturb meditation. Turn phones off and please be courteous of your noise upon arrival as other students may be settling into their meditation. Please hang coats and keep shoes and large bags in the coat rack/lobby area as this is a FULL CLASS and I want to ensure that we are maximizing our space. The building will be locked during our session so all belongings will be safe!
